テリー先生の経歴
大型車の製造会社デニス･ブラザーズUKで仕事のキャリアをスタート、そこで2年間の技術研修後、ワットニー醸造所（ビール会社）でエンジニアとして35年間勤務しました。複数の大型プロジェクトと千台もの車両の管理という責任を担い、道路交通エンジニア協会の会員となり、貨物輸送協会の理事にも就任しました。1998年には、バーウエル･モータースポーツのカーレースのエンジニアとして仕事を始め、15年間世界中を回りました。2014年、妻のカオルと東京に移住し、UKフィールズを設立して新たなキャリアを始めました。ロンドン大学での勉強が英語教授に役立ち、11年の英語指導歴があります。
English teacher Terry’s career
Terry started his career in mechanical engineering at Dennis Brothers UK, manufacturers of buses and fire engines where he studied engineering drawing. 2 years later he obtained a position as an engineer with Watney’s Brewery where he spent 35 years. With responsibility for multi-million pound projects and 1000 trucks he became a member of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers and regional director of the Freight Transport Association, working on vehicle design and safety.
In 1998 Terry joined Barwell Motorsport as a race engineer, travelling the world for 15 years, enjoying work and pleasure. In 2014 another career change took him to Tokyo to start UK Fields with his wife Kaoru where his qualifications at Cranfield and the University of London proved useful. He has been teaching English for 11 years.
Terry has a son and daughter and 5 grandchildren.
